The ABC's of Roosevelt

The kindergarteners worked in their classrooms to brainstorm different items around the building that started with each letter of the alphabet.  Each student was assigned a letter and they went with Ms. Andresen to find and take a picture of that item.  The pictures were put into an iMovie and each child was able to narrate their picture.  The remaining items were narrated as a group.  The results of the project are below.  Enjoy!

Kindergarten "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" Digital Stories

Students read the story "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" written by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault, and illustrated by Lois Ehlert.  They discussed the illustrations and what they needed to have to if we illustrated our own story.  The kids knew they needed letters, a tree, and coconuts.  They used KidPix to illustrate they visual image of the story and we compiled them into a video and added the song "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom".  We hope you enjoy!
